DIVERSITAS just sent today on your behalf the attached letter to President Medvedev of Russia in an effort to halt the destruction of the invaluable Pavlovsk seed bank historical collection. Please see the background document and letter attached. There is apparently a small chance to revert this decision.

So, please sign the petition prepared by the Global Crop Diversity Trust. It has already been signed by 11,000 people, and the objective is to collect 15,000 signatures.
